From Beginning To End
Before the procedure even begins, we need to make sure that you and microblading are a good fit. For the vast majority of people, microblading is an excellent solution to save time and give you that perfect shape every day. Our Do’s and Don’ts page has a list of disqualifiers, so be sure to check that out. Most people however don’t have any problem with the procedure and are able to enjoy the benefits of beautiful, natural-looking brows.
When you’re ready to make an appointment, one of our artists will talk over the procedure with you over the phone or text you to answer any questions you may have. Or if you already know you qualify and are ready to book your appointment, you can do that here.
We do ask that you provide us with before pictures. We want to see two pictures—one with makeup and one without makeup. The reason for this is we can start mapping out your face, sketching in ideal brows shapes and get an idea of the correct pigment. Don’t worry about making these a professional set of pictures. A picture from your phone will work fine—just make sure that the pictures are straight on.
When you arrive at the clinic on the day of procedure, your first step will be to fill out paperwork. We’ll go over the paperwork together, then work together to draw your brows. We start by mapping your face, which you can see here. We’ll measure your brows to find the perfect place they should begin and end, and then we’ll draw them in. We’ll work with the brows until we’re both satisfied with the shape.
The next step is to numb your brows to provide a painless to nearly painless procedure. We exfoliate your brows and apply numbing cream for 15-20 minutes, then we begin.
On our microblading page, we show you how the machine works. Here, we’ll just go over the process.
We complete each brow in two to three passes. For the Nano Hairstroke Brow, the first pass consists of the longer hair strokes. The second pass covers those finer hairs that we mentioned. We digitally microblade the smaller hairs in, filling in the brows and giving them a full, natural look. In our Combination Brow, we fill in the brows with powdering, which is a great technique to make the brow look natural and full. The Powder/Ombre Brow utilizes the powdering technique only.
After we have completed your brows, we will show them to you so we can make any little adjustments. It’s important to us that you are happy with the end result. We came into this business because love helping people save time and feel confident in the end result.
Once you’re satisfied, we’ll take “after photos,” give you your aftercare packet, and you’ll be free to go loving your brows!
Be sure to follow the aftercare very carefully. You can find details here.
Also, remember to book your followup appointment in six–eight weeks.
